Xiaomi is well known for making large capacity powerbanks, and they are here with their latest 30Ah or 30,000mAh one. If you are fond of travelling, and need to juice up your laptops and phones, this is the go to for long distance travellers.
Previous Xiaomi powerbank
Last year, Xiaomi released the same powerbank at 20000mAh but with 50w charging. It was also called the Mi Powerbank 3. This year, they beefed up the capacity, while offering a lower charging speed. It’s now available for 169 yuan(~$24). It will go on sale on 18th June. The higher battery capacity means this model will be way bulkier. The battery is said to last up to 10 days and can charge a mobile phone such as the Redmi K30 Pro almost 5 times. The iPhone SE 2020can be refilled up to 10.5 times with this power bank. It features smart compatibility, which means that it’s compatible with a host of different mobile phone brands, and tablets too.
Interfaces and charging speed
On the front, you can see two Type A and one Type C port. There is also a micro USB port. The device can be charged by the micro USB port, or the Type C port. Thus the Type C port supports 2 way charging. The Type C input into the powerbank is 24w whereas the output to the phone/tablet is 18w. When charging the powerbank with an ordinary 10w charger, it will take approx 10 hours, whereas with the 24w charging(30w Xiaomi charger), it will complete in just 7.5 hours.

Currently, the powerbank is listed on Jingdong mall aka jd.com , and will go on sale on 18th June
The main drawback with this powerbank is that it’s over 100Wh (Watt hours) and will be denied for plane travel. You could however get an approval from the airline in case you want to take powerbanks up to 160Wh. You could also use it for long distance travel across countries in trains and buses without needing any approval.
