The Hype is Real, Nokia 8 is finally here!

Nokia 8 was hyped since months now as Nokia’s upcoming premium flagship and to everyone’s delight, it is a Premium Device but on a budget. Meet the all new Nokia 8, brands current flagship and probably the sexiest looking smartphone designed by the firm with some serious specifications onboard!

Nokia 8 has a 5.3-inch display (2560 x 1440), and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The handset goes on sale during September and microSD support for up to 256 GB external storage. It will ship with an almost ‘pure’ version of Android 7.1.1, and HMD has suggested that this will be one of the earliest adopters of Android O.

The specs are mostly what you’d expect from any top phone this year, but HMD is sticking with capacitive keys and larger display bezels despite an emerging industry trend to slim bezels down and move the fingerprint sensor to the rear. In terms of design, the 8 is slim at 7.3mm on average across its curved frame, and it places the antennas at the top and bottom with a full aluminum back like we’ve seen from Meizu, Apple, and even OnePlus / Oppo. There are glossy blue and copper colors, and matte blue and grey options too. During a brief closer look at the handset, I personally preferred the matte colors. Still, it looks as stunning in all the colors available.

Talking about the Camera Optic, Thanks to the use of a dual camera system on the rear of the handset – which also welcomes back Zeis to the smartphone world with the first Zeis lenses available on an Android device – new camera software has been developed to take account of the dial lens system and to offer greater manual control over the images taken. Mobile Photography is getting better and better everyday!

The device is expected to be priced around 700$ and as we said earlier, it will go on sale in sometime around september, gotta wait! Anyways, we hope the device will perform better in terms of sales and impressing it’s customers than the Nokia 3,5 and 6! Whatever it is, will you updated and will be rolling out the Impressions article soon! Stay Tuned!
