After a lot of rumours, leaks and speculations about the upcoming Google flagship, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL we finally have the so called “confirmed” render of how the phone will appear to be. Covered by Droid-Life, Pixel 2 Xl will have a great pricing too!
For 2017, Google doesn’t seem too interested in addressing those complaints and is reportedly upping the price of the XL another $80—it will start at $849. There is, at least, a baseline of 64GB of storage, and you can jump up to a 128GB model for $949. There’s no SD card slot on the Pixels, so this is the only way to get more storage.
Source even says the Pixel 2 XL will come in two colors, not “black” and “white” but “black” and “black and white.” The black version is what you would expect—all black everything—although the metal body seems to be a dark gray or matte black, while the Pixel’s trademark glass window is a deep, glossy black. The “black and white” color gets a little crazy, with a white body, black glass window, and a cheeky orange power button.
The Pixel 2 is made by HTC again this time while the Pixel 2 XL is made by LG. The two phones are an evolution of Pixel and Pixel XL and hence do differ much in terms of design or feature set compared to the existing phones, although there are going to be a couple of new features. The phone is likely to come with a 5-inch screen. The Pixel 2 XL may come with a 5.7-inch or 5.8-inch screen and the Pixel 2 XL will come with 4GB RAM. They will have at least 64GB storage with 128GB variant also available. They are likely to be water and dust proof. This will be an improvement compared to the current Pixel phones that lack this feature and also, come with stereo speakers and squeezable frame, similar to what we saw in HTC U11.
THE PIXEL 2 XL FINAL RENDERS BY DROID-LIFE-
As per the News, The new Google phone will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor and will use Android Oreo out of the box. There are more rumours about the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL will get rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack, following into the footsteps of the iPhone. Oh no! Just FYI, The Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL will even have an AMOLED screen.
So the October 4th launch seems no more exciting as almost all the details have been leaked. Still, waiting for the official announcement and the first looks are definitely the hype and what we all are looking forward to.
