With the cat out of the bag now lets get cracking on the new set of Nokia phones , Nokia 9 & 8 which are all set to be revealed in the beginning of the new year as a report from China states.
Clearly shows that Nokia have not been sleeping since the release of the first series of their Android Phones in the beginning of 2017 and are once again back in the game .
HMD Global the new Licensee brand and home of Nokia phones are set for a product launch on the 19th of January in China.Nokia 9 is going to be the show stopper , with both phones customized ROM wise for the Chinese Market , which ultimately means that there’s going to be no Google Services or related software installed . Although , Google CEO Sundar Pichai has been trying his level best to pave a way for Google’s re-entry into the Populous Chinese Market.
Leaks reveal that the Nokia 9 will be priced at CNY 3699(560$) for the 6GB/64GB variant and CNY 4199(635$) for the 8GB/128GB variant.Ouch , definitely a bit pricey and an odd number in $ at that too.
But , this obviously means its going to be packed with the best hardware in town , which means a 5.5QHD Display with a 18:9 aspect ratio ( a bit late to the bezel-less game , but no harm no foul ) a SD 835 Soc with a dual rear camera setup and with IP67 (dust/water Protection) is what the rumors say. However , there is probably not going to be a 3.5 mm Headphone jack , RIP you will be missed .
