RAID + Distributed Clustering

A redundant group/array of independent disks (also, RAID, redundant array of independent disks) refers to a data storage system that uses multiple drives (hard drives or SSDs), among which the data is distributed or replicated. Storage server with 24 holes for hard drives and RAID implemented by hardware RAID with support of various configurations or RAID levels. Depending on your configuration (often referred to as tier), the benefits of a RAID over a single disk are one or more of the following: increased integrity, fault tolerance, transfer rates, and capacity. In its original implementations, its key advantage was the ability…

The Countries that are Spearheads in the Development of Technologies

Currently, there is a technology competition at the world level, for which professionals are constantly working to help technology evolve. For example, Reoltec’s objective is to promote the coordination and promotion of Research and Innovation activities within the wind sector and offshore wind is one of the sectors with the greatest technological challenges and with an interesting prospect of world growth. For more information here. The regulations for the development of offshore wind power in Spain date back to 2007 without having served to promote specific projects to date. Free Software concepts to know

What is Free Software? Free software is a question of freedom, not price. To understand this concept, we must think in the meaning of free as in freedom of expression and not as in open bar of beer. By free software we mean the freedom of users to run, copy, distribute, study, change and improve the software. We are referring especially to four kinds of freedom for software users. The four basic freedoms are: Freedom 0: the freedom to run the program, whatever our purpose. Freedom 1: the freedom to study how the program works and adapt it to your…

Innovative Battery Technology Puts Flying Cars on the Horizon

Jet packs, robot maids, and flying cars were all promises for the 21st century. We got mechanized, autonomous vacuum cleaners instead. Now a team of Penn State researchers are exploring the requirements for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicles and designing and testing potential battery power sources. “I think flying cars have the potential to eliminate a lot of time and increase productivity and open the sky corridors to transportation,” said Chao-Yang Wang, holder of the William E. Diefender Chair of Mechanical Engineering and director of the Electrochemical Engine Center, Penn State. “But electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles…

Unlocking the Potential of Blockchain Technology: Decentralized, Secure, and Scalable

Algorand uses a unique architecture developed by MIT Professor Silvio Micali to offer a decentralized, secure, and scalable blockchain. The Republic of the Marshall Islands is a country of around 50,000 people spread across more than 1,000 islands in a remote part of the Pacific Ocean. The country relies heavily on cross-border finance and trade, and the complexities of that system can make it difficult for citizens to get certain goods and financial services efficiently. Now the federal government is seeking to become the first to issue a national digital currency using blockchain technology. Officials hope the move helps citizens…
