Google Pixel and Pixel XL will ditch Android Nougat 7.0
After the unofficial announcement of this year’s Google phones, a new leak is suggesting those devices won’t run the current version of Android but a updated one. So the Google Pixel and Pixel XL will actually run Android Nougat 7.1 which will fix many bugs and issues. LlabTooFer on Twitter is reporting that both devices will launch with versions Android 7.1 and build NDE63B. These are just numbers right now, but the numbering scheme suggests these are maintenance upgrades to refine the initial launch of Nougat. Android Nougat hits Android One unofficially via CM14!
Google Promised that its Android One series will receive updates up to 2years which will complete this September but.. Google somehow missed to update Android Ones to Nougat and everyone was quite angry. But, Who cares anymore when you have Cyanogenmod or CM14 coming to your way with Android Nougat to you, though unofficially but with more flexibility! Google seems to modify and update the Google Now Search app quite frequently. We did see lot of small changes in the app in just a month and we are likely to see more of it.
