2016 has just entered and everyone is quite excited about the CES 2016 which will be held this month. We are listening to see many smartphone releases this time and maybe Samsung is also bringing out their S7 on this Consumer Electronics Show(CES) or maybe Mobile World Congress(MWC) can also bring the Smartphone! But, we already have the leaks regarding the specifications of it! @onLeaks just leaked the specification of Samsung Galaxy S7 and its kinda average.
The leaked specification sheet shows up more details about the Display of the smartphone rather than other components. The leaked specs are-
- 5.7″ Quad HD Display
- 4GB Ram
- 13MP Rear Shooter and 5MP Front
- Unknown ARM AArch64 Processor
- Adreno 530
- Total 33 sensors
- Fingerprint Scanner
We don’t really understand why Samsung compromised on the camera part as the use of a 16/21MP shooter would be more pleasing with such specification. About the processor, Maybe we will get to see a Snapdragon 830 or Any Exynos cheap but as the GPU Adreno 530 is their, the processor will be a gamechanger!
China Mobile, China’s major mobile carrier, has seemingly let the Samsung Galaxy S7-shaped cat out of the bag. In a roadmap for China Mobile’s next few months, presented at a recent event in China, a slide shared by the carrier is seen to include the S7 under the March column.
This makes sense, seeing as Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) runs from 22-25 February, and that the past two main iterations of Samsung’s Galaxy flagship were both announced at MWC. However, a Korean outlet has said the launch will happen before MWC, on 19 January. This would certainly give Samsung a chance to extinguish Apple’s iPhone 6s fire as soon as it can.
Fuel has also been added to an early Q1 launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S7, following reports that American phone company AT&T has allegedly been testing two new Samsung models. Reliable leaker @evleaks has claimed on Twitter that AT&T is testing two model variants, likely to relate to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
They probably chose 13Mpixel because Apple did. That’s Samsung after all. It’s always going to be a trade off between low light quality, megapixels, and camera hump size. If they’re using an Adreno GPU then it’s definitely one of the Qualcomm CPUs, since Adreno is a proprietary Qualcomm GPU core… it could not be on an Exynos SOC.
true!
