After years of Nexus series booming its popularity levels and getting more and more common proved how successful Google became with the series and thus, made them almost completely focused in it. But, seems like Google is finally making a Non-Nexus phone and its amazing to hear that, isn’t it? 😀
Hmm! So It appears that Google is working on a smartphone called the “Google Phone” which it will launch later this year. According to the Telegraph , Google will release a smartphone with tighter controls over “design, manufacturing and software” before the end of the year.
While this might affect partnerships including those with HTC who is supposedly making the Nexus devices this year. Google CEO Sundar Pichai has recently been very vocal over tighter control on design and materials.
It is unknown what the reality of the phone will hold and whether it will be any different from phones from manufacturers like Samsung or Huawei.
Whatever it is, it has to be something different obviously and seems like maybe Google is thinking to settle down with this new series. Good Going Google! 🙂
