HTC A16 images Leaked!

While the Taiwanese tech giant HTC is preparing to present its flagship smartphone, the One M10, codenamed Perfume, to the world in little over a month, we have fresh leaks coming from a well known tipster for another HTC device. @evleaks has posted an image on Twitter which seems like renders of a new phone in the works, named the HTC A16.

The image features the device in a variety of colour combinations, adding a touch of funk to them. Apart from the colours, we
get a good look at the front and back of the phone, which shows that the phone is following a very Desire-like design language.

Due to the design similarities with the Desire range, the device seems to be a mid-range smartphone. The front shows off some
pretty large bezels, which is a standard in HTC’s mid-range offerings, and also a HTC logo at the bottom end. The phone also houses the ever popular BoomSound speakers on the top and bottom with a different look on the grills which isn’t bad. On the right we can see the power/lock and the volume rocker buttons and the selfie camera beside the top speaker grill.

The camera module is situated on the top left corner on the back of the device with an LED flash right below it, which is also a standard with most of their phones. We also see the company’s logo on the centre of the phone below the camera, and one cant help but notice something interesting on the bottom of the device, two holes which may be strap holes or even be a third speaker, though its hard to tell.

From what the images reveal of the A16, the device looks pretty funky and seems to be aimed at the younger and more style conscious crowd.

That’s all we have on the HTC A16 for now as the specifications or other details were not reported by the source. More coverage on HTC’s latest mid-range offering will be available in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
