No.1 G5 First Impressions and Unboxing!

No.1 is a fresh chinese brand who are recently manufacturing some sick smartwatches and phones for the ultimate price value. One of them, called the No.1 G5 was sent to me by them and It did impress me on the first look 😀 Let’s have a look!

The device comes with a plastic body yet sturdy and has pretty nice finishes. It’s comfortable to wear and does looks really good too. Sometimes, it was like I couldn’t stop observing the watch sitting on my wrist and that actually impressed me somehow more than anything else.

No.1 G5

It has special features like multiple watch faces, pedometer, heart rate meter. You can also install new apps or uninstall loaded apps on the watch through the smartphone app which sounds really cool!

  • Processor::MTK2502
  • Operating System::Linkit
  • Display::1.2″ Capacitive IPS
  • Memory::64 MB
  • Battery::380 mAh Li-polymer Battery 2 days of typical usage
  • Sensors::gyro sensors, Heart rate monitor,Pedometer,Sedentary reminder,Sleep monitor

Practically I’ve used the Pedometer for a long 2km walk and it did give me pretty accurate stats. I’ve also used the Heart Rate sensor for measuring my heart beats per minute and it works really nice. But.. Their are few cons too.. one of them is.. when you connect the phone with the watch, it doesn’t always connects totally like a smartdevice.

Even after installing the app the watch comes with.. It doesn’t always properly connects and has all the functions working properly which can be fixed with some small software tweaks which I’ll talk about in the Detailed Review!

I personally did love the design somewhat because of the comfortable fit on your wrist and also, the watch-band is of good quality. Well, you can’t really expect anything better in sub 30$ to 40$ price range. So, would suggest everyone for having a try. Cheers 😀
