The date June 14th has been confirmed for the launch of OnePlus’s latest flagship, the OnePlus 3. We already have all the leaks of the phone that we could have –Specifications, official renders, hands-on images etc. And here we’re gonna round em’ up.
The Rumoured Specs of OnePlus 3 which are Confirmed-
- Metallic unibody design
- 5.5 inch 1080p display (401 PPI) with Gorilla Glass 4
- Snapdragon 820, Adreno 530
- 4GB/6GB RAM with 32GB/64GB internal storage
- Front Camera: 8MP f/2.0, Rear camera: 16 MP f/1.8
- 3000mAh battery (Non-removable)
The device has a curved back design and the similarity with HTC flagships is uncanny. Although its not a very unique design, its still much better than the OnePlus 2 and a lot of other mid range phones. Thanks to TechConfigurations, we have some classy 3D renders of the OnePlus 3.
Oneplus decided to stick with the 1080p display and I respect their decision. There’s little difference in 1080p and QHD in terms of display quality but a significant difference in terms of battery life. The battery capacity however, is a downgrade from the Oneplus 2’s 3300 mAh battery.
The camera should be a significant upgrade on this one but we aren’t sure about the inclusion of laser auto focus. On one hand, GSMarena claims there is one but on the other hand it cant be seen in the leaks. It could be possible that its embedded in the camera bulge rather than the chassy. OnePlus could also go the Samsung way and use dual pixel AF. What are your thoughts on that? Let us know in the comments below!
