10 LED ‘Ring Flash’ coming on the Meizu Pro 6!

Meizu is one brand that many people outside China may not be very familiar with but inside the Chinese provinces the way they have been going since the Meizu Note Series and the Meizu Pro 5 which features Ubuntu OS , they have been giving other famous Mutli-National brands like Xiaomi, Huawei and Lenovo a run for their money. This time round they have come up with the Meizu Pro 6 which is said to feature a 10 LED flash shaped like a ring. Having recently established footholds in India , they are quickly proving to be one company to have a keen eye out for .


A flurry of rumors and leaks have been going around regarding the release date of the phone and its specifications. However it has been recently confirmed by the company that its all set for the unveiling which would be taking place on the 13th of April.For those unaware regarding the specifications of this premium flagship smartphone, salient features of the Meizu Pro 6 are:

  • 5.7 QHD Display
  • 3D Touch Display
  • Helio X25 DecaCore Processor
  • Mali T880 MP4 GPU
  • 4/6 gigs of RAM
  • 64/128 gigs storage with micro SD support /double up as dual sim
  • Flyme OS , Android v6.0 (Marshmallow)
  • 21 MP Camera with 10 LED “Ring Flash”

The latest sources reveal that the phone is supposedly sporting a Ring Flash under the camera module at the rear end of the device. The “Ring Flash” as it is named is said to carry as many as 10 LED’s used as flash. With most devices having dual LED flash the 10 LED is certainly a mammoth of a leap and we have to just wait and see what exactly its capabilities are and whether its indeed true. The images leaked does show something like a circular carving below the camera, but then again these are some low res-images so they clearly aren’t very credible sources.
